Description of Externship:

Rotate through necropsy service with 4th year veterinary student clinical rotation with opportunities in the Wisconsin Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory, the Milwaukee County Zoo and Research Animal Resource Center. Perform prosections, present at daily rounds, and generate reports for client animals of the VMTH. Externs will interact with veterinary students, residents and faculty. Attendance at daily histology rounds (surgical biopsy, ophthalmic pathology), clinical pathology rounds, dermatopathology and diagnostic pathology rounds, gross rounds, and weekly seminars is expected.
